WHO: Poppermost - pop/rock music makers Alex
Oliver and Roy Al Rendahl, bringing you "music for the different" since
2001.
WHAT: Poppermost wins the first Las Vegas
Springs Preserve YouTube Video Clip Contest.
Congratulations to two members of local pop rock group Poppermost for
creating the winning entry of the "My Preserve Escape" YouTube contest,
sponsored by Las Vegas Springs Preserve.
The winning one minute clip was shot and edited by Poppermost members
Roy Rendahl and Debbie Oliver. Combining a Springs Preserve
video shoot, a visiting friend of the group, and music from
Poppermost's new By Your Inspiration, Vol. 1 EP
release, they were able to capture "both sides of Las Vegas" -
energetic and hurried Strip activity, and the serenity of the Las Vegas
Springs Preserve.
Two lead off tracks from BYI, Vol. 1 ("Saturday
Night," and "Christine Purple Star"), are featured in the winning clip.
WHY is this being shared now?: Today's mail
brought the contest prizes: a 4GB Flip MinoHD video camera, six general
admission tickets to the Springs Preserve, a $75 voucher for the
Springs Cafe by Wolfgang Puck, and an award certificate.

Hi everybody,
It's been a long time since we've sent out a group e-mail, because we
wanted to have something important to share, rather than just clutter
your inbox with our life and all its strangeness. We've been
in
contact with many of you via Facebook (http://www.facebook.com/poppermost),
and have thoroughly enjoyed hearing from you. We're at Poppermost
